In an effort to continually improve our response to donors, member
agencies and the community, our United Way hosted a summit on January
4, 2006 to identify the critical health and human service needs
in Jefferson and North Walworth Counties. Key community leaders
were invited to provide their insight and counsel regarding the
issues that our community is facing. During the summit five critical
service need areas of our community were identified by the session’s
participants.
Strengthening Families
Building and Maintaining Family Financial Stability
Improving Community Health
Integrating Diverse Populations
Addressing the Needs of At Risk Youth
On January 17, 2006 our United Way’s board of directors
adopted these five critical need areas as the focus of our organizations
financial and human resource efforts.
