United Way Announces Annual Chili Cook-Off Contest

FORT ATKINSON, WI – October 22, 2004 –The United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties, announces that the organization will be sponsoring its annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fort Atkinson Municipal Building, 101 N. Main Street, immediately following the Fort Atkinson Holiday parade. 

At a one time cost of $3.00 per cup, the public is invited to sample over a dozen different types of traditional and specialty chili.  Hot dogs, soda, chips and water will also be available for purchase. 

Before heading back to the North Pole, Santa will be available to meet with children.  Families may wish to purchase a $5 keepsake photo of their children with Santa.

As part of the Chili-Cook-Off, the United Way will also be raffling the following items: 4 luxury box tickets to a Milwaukee Bucks game, compliments of Johnson Bank; Diamond Anniversary Ring, compliments of Krueger Jewelers, and a Packer autographed stamped football, compliments of the United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties and Green Bay Packers.
