United Way elects new directors and officers
FORT ATKINSON, WI – January 23, 2006 – The
United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties, announces
that during the organization’s annual meeting on January
17, 2005 the following individuals were elected as board directors.
Kathy Bruns, human resources manager at Jones Dairy Farm; Kristin
Giblin, human resources manager at HUSCO International in Whitewater;
Jeff Johnson, executive vice president at Citizens State Bank and
Trust in Fort Atkinson; Jill Kessenich, owner of Clark House Design
in Fort Atkinson; and Sandy Swartz, owner of Sandy Swartz Consulting
in Jefferson. Retiring director Todd Tesch was appointed to fill
a two-year vacancy created by Brian Bartos who relocated to Ohio.
In addition to the election of new directors, the organization
also elected new officers for 2006. Elected were Anne Fellows,
vice chair; Carol Ward Knox vice chair; Dan McCrea, secretary;
J. Michael Phelps, treasurer and Todd Tesch board chair.
Retiring directors Philip Jones, Bob Martin and John Sotherland
were recognized with great appreciation for their years of service
on the board and to the community.
