United Way announces postcard design winner
FORT ATKINSON, WI – November 10, 2005 – The
United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties announces that
a postcard designed by Brittany Kozak, a fifth grade student at
Lincoln Elementary in Whitewater, was selected as the organization’s
2005 donor thank you card.
“There were over twenty-four designs submitted by Lincoln
students and the creativity of these young minds was outstanding,” said
Dan McCrea, United Way’s executive director. “The decision
was difficult because you could see that everyone worked hard on
their individual submission. However, in the end, we felt Brittany’s
artwork and message “thank you for making the day bright” captured
the gratefulness of our United Way, its partner agencies and those
who directly benefit from the investment of our donors.”
The United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties partners
with over 30 health and human service agencies that provide local
services throughout the communities of Fort Atkinson, Hellenville,
Jefferson, Lake Mills, Palmyra, Sullivan and Whitewater. For more
